Division of Genome Maintenance

The mission of the division is to facilitate interactions and collaborations among investigators in the field of genome maintenance, including DNA repair, DNA replication, checkpoint response, epigenetics, mitosis, chromosome stability, and related diseases. The division strives to provide an effective platform for the exchange of information on research, education, and technology to move the field forward, improve human health, and promote career opportunities for its members.

The 2nd SCBA-Division of Genome Maintenance Scientific Symposium will be held during June 25-29, 2025, at University of Washington, Seattle, WA. The meeting will be a great gathering and learning experience, with 35 speakers from major research institutions in the US, Canada, and China. Dr. Wei Yang from the NIH will be the keynote speaker. Past Event:

The 1st SCBA Division of Genome Maintenance Annual Meeting was successfully held during May 28-30, 2023 at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The meeting was a great gathering and learning experience with 35 speakers from major research institutions across the US. 



SCBA is a registered 501(c) organization with the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It is a tax-exempt, nonprofit association, registered in the United States. Donations and sponsorships to SCBA are tax-deductible.
